As a researcher, one of the most difficult tasks when it comes to completing a study and gaining insights can be choosing a sample provider.   Navigating through the sea of options is often difficult, especially if you are new to the industry, working for a new company that doesn’t yet have a trusted provider, have had a negative experience in the past, or are conducting a study in a very niche market. Fortunately, there are guidelines that can help steer you in the right direction and take some of the burden off of you when it comes to deciding what factors you should consider.

The European Society for Opinion and Market Research (ESOMAR) has been around since 1947, and as part of their mission, they have developed a very specific set of questions, known as the ESOMAR 28, that help researchers better vet their panel partners and make more educated choices.  We took the time to put together a list of our own answers to ESOMAR’s 28 questions, and we’re happy to share some of the highlights with you here:

Our aim is to deliver the highest quality market research data by being a trusted partner for online surveys research. Our operational experience combined with our wide respondent network enables us to deliver high quality data at competitive prices. iMAD Research utilizes innovative sampling and survey technology and an experienced project management team to provide an unparalleled experience for our clients.

Some companies collect respondents by combining resources from other contact lists, such as direct marketing lists, which can affect the outcomes of surveys.  iMad utilizes its sample exclusively for the purposes of market research, and nothing else.

Through our proprietary sampling platform, we give researchers access to both broad and niche audiences worldwide. By utilizing various sampling methods and sources, iMAD Research can accumulate a sizable number of niche audiences through its custom recruitment campaigns. For hard-to-reach target groups, iMAD Research employs smaller sub-panels that have been built over the years via custom profiling surveys.

These questions are just a sampling of what we’ve taken the time to answer in the interest of transparency and to help you make fully informed decisions when it comes to choosing your sample partner, but if you are interested in reading our full list of responses to the ESOMAR 28, you can download it anytime by clicking here to be redirected to our resource center.  If you find that you still have additional questions, we are always happy to answer them for you.  Contact a representative from iMad research at [email protected]
